A delegation of US lawmakers is scheduled to meet with Taiwan President Tsai Ing-wen on Monday. The US delegation's visit is an expression of the US Congress' strong support for Taiwan, Taipei said.

The US-Taiwan relationship and global supply chain will be discussed with the region's leaders during the visit, according to the US de facto embassy in Taiwan. Earlier, the United States announced an increase in trade with Taiwan in response to China's provocative behavior.
