China's military will not sit idly by when US Congress Speaker Nancy Pelosi visits Taiwan. Beijing has given such a warning. News agency Reuters.

In a statement on Monday (August 1), the spokesperson of the country's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Zhao Lijian, issued the warning.

Zhao Lijian also said that if US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi visits Taiwan, it will be a direct snub to China's internal issues. It is an affront to Beijing's sovereignty and territorial integrity. Such a move is undoubtedly a threat to the stability of the region. I would like to remind the US once again that China's military is always ready.
