About 850 million worth of drugs were burned in the fire. On Sunday, Myanmar, known as the drug haven, took the initiative. News agency AP.

On International Anti-Drug Day, the military government took this step in Yangon. In addition to yaba, heroin, marijuana, and several other drugs and raw materials were burned in the fire. These were seized during raids at different times. Myanmar is one of the world's largest drug producers. Due to the border, huge amount of yaba is also smuggled to Bangladesh by drug traffickers.

However, some analysts have warned that such a move by the junta government is part of a political strategy. They are not so sincere about drug cure.
