14 bodies recovered from Myanmar beach

Fourteen bodies have been recovered from a beach in Myanmar. The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) said in a statement on Monday. News from NDTV.

Myanmar police say a group of 90 Rohingya tried to cross into Malaysia in a boat. The boat sank on the way. Later, 35 people were rescued alive with the help of locals. At least 50 people are still missing.

Rohingyas are constantly migrating to neighboring countries in a risky way due to repression in their own country. More than 11 lakh Rohingyas are sheltering in Bangladesh.
