A young Palestinian man was injured by Israeli gunfire, and several others suffered from tear gas inhalation during a raid on the Fawwar refugee camp in the occupied West Bank, according to Wafa. The agency’s correspondent reported that Israeli forces stormed the camp, leading to confrontations with residents. Israeli soldiers fired live ammunition, stun grenades, and tear gas, resulting in a gunshot wound to the foot for the young man, who was subsequently transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. Meanwhile, many other civilians affected by tear gas were treated on-site.

A large protest organized by several activist groups under the banner of the Palestine Coalition took place at 1 PM (13:00 GMT) to show support for the Palestinian cause. A smaller counter-protest organized by a pro-Israel group met with the protesters at the end of their march, and police separated the opposing groups, as reported by the dpa news agency. Pro-Palestine demonstrators carried signs and banners that read “Stop arming Israel” and “Open your eyes [British Prime Minister Keir Starmer], see what Israel is doing.”

Israeli media reports indicate that Netanyahu will meet with senior officials shortly to discuss developments regarding the Gaza ceasefire deal. We will continue to follow this situation and provide updates as they become available.

According to Jafarnia, Israel’s ongoing blockade of aid into Gaza may soon lead to a situation where “people will not have any access to water in the coming days unless fuel is allowed in.” She expressed deep concern about the current conditions, stating, “I don’t have enough words to describe how bad things are right now.” Wells have begun to shut down, and desalination plants have completely ceased operation due to the cutoff of electricity and fuel blockades. “Currently, water is still coming through two of the three lines from Israel, but Israeli authorities have threatened to cut those off as well,” she said.

Jafarnia also noted that diplomatic measures have thus far proven ineffective, stating, “What we need to see is a cessation of arms and funding to Israeli authorities and forces.” She emphasized the legal implications of the actions by Israeli authorities, which she described as acts of genocide, yet pointed out that many Western countries continue to provide funding and arms to Israel.
