Ukraine war will push 50 million people into hunger: US

 

Russia's war against Ukraine, not Western sanctions, will starve another 50 million people, says US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken. News Reuters.

He made the remarks at a joint news conference with German Foreign Minister Analena Beerbach in Berlin, Germany, on Friday (June 24th). Blinken said Russia's blockade of Ukraine and Russia's refusal to export its grain were part of Russia's political strategy.

"The international community is working together against Russia's grain politics and Russian propaganda," Bayerbock told a news conference.
